A 35mm spacer for Famous Mid Controls when your clutch or drivetrain configuration requires additional clearance between the transmission trapdoor and oil pump.
Designed as a separate fitment and conversion part for existing Famous Mid Control setups across both the Performance and Origin Series.
BILLET &
STAINLESS.
CNC-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and supplied with the required stainless steel hardware.

One spacer for compatible Famous Mid Control setups across both product series.
It is used when the individual clutch or drivetrain configuration requires approximately 35mm / 1.4" of additional spacing.
1982–2006.
Compatible with applicable Famous Performance Series Mid Control setups from 1982–2006 where additional clutch or drivetrain clearance is required.
Chopper / Custom V-Twin.
Compatible with applicable Famous Origin Mid Control setups for custom chopper and V-Twin applications where additional spacing is required.
DO YOU
NEED IT?
The spacer is not a universal requirement for every Famous Mid Control installation.
It is used when an existing setup requires additional spacing because of the clutch configuration or the specific engine-transmission combination.
Cable Clutch Conversion
For compatible existing Famous Mid Controls when converting from a hydraulic clutch configuration to a stock cable clutch setup.
Hydraulic Clearance
Can be required on hydraulic clutch setups where the fitting faces toward the engine and additional clearance is necessary.
Custom Drivetrain
For compatible custom engine-transmission combinations that require approximately 35mm / 1.4" of additional spacing between the trapdoor and oil pump.
Existing Mids
Intended primarily as a fitment or conversion part for customers who already own Famous Mid Controls.
ORDERING
NEW MIDS?
If you are ordering new Famous Mid Controls with the Cable Clutch option, you do not need to purchase this spacer separately.
The required spacer and hardware are already included when the Mid Controls are ordered in the corresponding Cable Clutch configuration.
This separate spacer is intended for existing setups and later conversions.
