Famous Fabricator started with our own bikes, our own ideas and parts we couldn't find anywhere else.

HOW IT STARTED
WE WANTED PARTS
FOR OUR OWN BIKES.
Famous didn't start with a business plan. It started in the garage.
We were building Harley-Davidson and V-Twin bikes and kept running into the same problem: the parts we wanted either didn't exist, didn't fit the way we wanted, or simply didn't belong on the bikes we were building.
So we started making our own.

WHERE FAMOUS STARTED
MID CONTROLS
CAME FIRST.
The first Famous parts came directly from the chopper builds we were working on ourselves.
Mid Controls became the center of it. Stainless steel first. Then aluminum. Different engines, frames and Harley platforms followed.
What started with stripped-down choppers grew into parts for Sportster, FXR, Dyna, Softail and Touring builds.
PERFORMANCE
Mid Controls for Harley-Davidson builds where stock position, stock feel and stock limits no longer work.
REPLACEMENT
Factory geometry with Famous hardware. Built to replace the original setup without changing what already works.

BUILT IN GERMANY
FROM IDEA
TO PART.
Famous develops its parts from the bike outward. Fitment, geometry, material and installation come before anything else.
DESIGN
Parts and layouts are developed by Famous around actual Harley-Davidson and V-Twin applications.
PROTOTYPE
New setups are built, installed and checked on real bikes before they become production parts.
MACHINING
Production components are CNC-machined in Germany to Famous drawings and specifications.
FINAL ASSEMBLY
Parts are checked, assembled and prepared by Famous before they leave Germany.

Famous Fabricator was founded by Chris Marschka out of a simple frustration: he couldn't find the parts he wanted for the bikes he was building.
The first Famous parts were designed for his own projects. That is still how new parts start today — with an actual bike, an actual problem and a reason to make something different.
Famous remains closely connected to the machines, builders and riders the parts are made for.
