WHAT IS THE FAMOUS REPLACEMENT SERIES?
The Famous Replacement Series is a line of bike-specific Harley-Davidson parts designed around the original factory layout while replacing bulky OEM components with CNC-machined Famous hardware.
WHICH HARLEY-DAVIDSON MODELS ARE CURRENTLY AVAILABLE?
The Replacement Series currently includes applications for Harley-Davidson Dyna 2006–2017 and FXR 1982–1994.
DO I NEED TO MODIFY MY EXHAUST?
The Replacement Series keeps the factory mid-control layout. If your exhaust works with the original OEM mid-control position, the Famous Replacement setup is designed around that same geometry.
WHAT MATERIAL ARE THE MID CONTROLS MADE FROM?
The main components are CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, with stainless-steel components used in high-load and wear-critical areas.
